POSITION SUMMARY
Drafter responsible for providing drafting support for oil and gas facility and pipeline projects. The position will working with Engineering and Operations to support design efforts as well as the development of "as-built" drawings of existing facilities.
Job Responsibilities
- Development of Piping design and construction documents in accordance with standards including but not limited to piping plans, isometrics, P&IDs, bill of materials, etc.
- Gathering of data from field locations, operations, engineering and project managers
- Drafting "as-built" drawings
- Review of design documents provided by third party engineering services
Qualifications
Education
- AAS degree in Design and Drafting Technology or equivalent experience
Experience
- 3+ years of Facility Design or Drafting experience
Other Requirements
- Strong working knowledge AutoCAD
- Experience with AutoDesk Plant Design 2014 preferred
- Understanding of Oil and Gas Operations
- Strong working knowledge of power and instrumentation design
- Knowledge of applicable industry standards for design and documentation
