Senior Project Manager Are you an ambitious project manager who wants to be part of the roll-out of our REnescience waste treatment technology globally?
Join us and become Senior Project Manager in our Projects department in New Bio Solutions. The Projects department is responsible for developing and executing Asset Projects as well as running our Product Line development programme. You will be overall responsible for one Asset Project where you must ensure that the project is maintained within the approved mandate. You report to the management steering committee. Project investments are typically between EUR 50 and 100 million with a lead time of approx. 24 months.
In New Bio Solutions, we are responsible for pursuing new growth within bioenergy. REnescience is an innovative new technology within waste recycling. Our goal is to be the leader within sustainable, efficient and intelligent use of the resources in waste from households, farming and forests.
The department is part of Bioenergy & Thermal Power which has 800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. We own just below half of the thermal production capacity in Denmark and are at the forefront of the development within efficient use of biomass and reduction of the environmental impact through innovative bio-refining technologies.
You will be based at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect travelling in relation to your work as projects can be oversea.
Your key tasks will be to
- establish the project organisation in line with the project governance model
- keep the project within the mandate, including maintaining its business case
- coordinate between the commercial, EPCM, permitting an O&M track
- report to the steering committee and management team in Bioenergy & Thermal Power
- identify stakeholders (internally and externally) and act as spokesperson for the Project.
The key success criteria are to manage all aspects of an Asset Project to make it a successful investment for the company, from an economical as well as a safety and stakeholder perspective.
Your qualifications and core competences include that you
- have a degree in engineering
- have experience in managing many stakeholders with different interest and point of view
- have experience in managing complex asset projects
- have a proactive and systematic approach to your work tasks
- thrive in an international environment and are able to create good relationships with your stakeholders.
