Qualification & Experience
* Minimum Graduate in Chemical, Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering.
* Minimum 10 years of Engineering experience in oil & gas field operations & processes in an Oil & Gas company preferably in Middle East.
Job Description:
* Participate in & contribute to all phases of a project from conceptual design, to detailed engineering, equipment fabrication management & system operation.
* Responsible for managing &/or contributing to one or more projects simultaneously.
* Responsible for timely completion of approved projects at minimum cost, to the required technical specifications & in line with Company policies, objectives & procedures, meeting all quality, health, safety & environment objectives.
* Participate in preparation of Expensed & Capital Budgets, Corporate Business Plan.
* Perform various engineering calculations & analyses related to process design , equipment sizing & selection;
* Define process controls & develop preliminary engineering drawings.
* Prepare detailed project cost estimates;
* Interface with equipment suppliers & venders;
* Prepare project documentation such as operations & maintenance manuals.
* Assist operating staff with equipment/plant start up & troubleshooting.
Requirement
* Proficiency in basic engineering computation & analysis related to liquid & gas handling in process equipment pertaining to Oil & Gas Processing facilities & Pipelines.
* Specific experience in Offshore & Onshore Oil & Gas Processing facilities & pipelines.
* To prepare project execution plans (PEPs), cost estimates, budgets & schedules.
* To execute projects within budget, schedule & meeting the required specification, quality & Health Safety Security & Environment requirement.
* To manage conceptual & detailed design. (ensure through regular review & audits the integrity of engineering designs prepared in-house & by external design consultants) in accordance with the agreed overall executing/contracting strategy.
* To manage procurement process.
* To initiate & manage construction activities, to co-ordinate commissioning, handover activities & project close-out.
* To manage contract professionally to ensure contractual requirements / deliverables are met.
* Candidates having work experience with Contractor companies will be preferred.
Other Details:
* Hands on experience of working on project management software like MS Projects, Primavera, etc.
* Good English communication, presentation & interpersonal skills is a must.
* Team player, self-motivated, results oriented with conceptual & flexible mind-set.
* Well developed skills in coordinating with contractors, consultants & designers.
* Willingness & ability to operate in a multinational environment.
