Job Role & Resposibilities:
Preparing Material take off for (Oil & Gas / Chemical Projects.
A total control of all types of materials pertaining to the construction of Industrial plants (Oil & Gas / Chemical Projects)
Working closely with Material planning and Coordinate with procurement department, logistic team, expeditors, suppliers and vendors for timely deliveries
Taking action on Requisition/cancellation/Material Transfer based on Non conforming / Overage /Shortage/Damage (OSD) reports and claims/ non conforming- QUARANTINE storage in designated areas / Locations & mark locations for records
Prepare MRR (Material Received Reports) and all other documents pertaining to in and out materials.
Conversant with working in MTO database Pipeworks and P&ID component database INSPEC. Handles all data transfer for procurement as well as Site.
Control of documents – Shipping invoices, Material / test Certificates, purchase order copies, packing list, MRR, MIV, MSDS for all hazardous products and all other documents pertaining to material control activities
Designing special systems, e.g, Piping Insulation, Coating , prefabrication etc.
Extensive experience and knowledge of ASME, API, AWWA, ASTM and MSS codes/product specifications is essential.
