The position is of Lead Piping Design Engineer for Bangalore office with following JD:
Able to communicate well within and outside the department
Knowledge of PDS is a must
Thorough Knowledge of Stress analysis is preferred, Knowledge of materials is a must
HSE knowledge is a must
Review of layout in terms of operability, maintainability and constructability point of view.
Knowledge to assess the skill levels of others assigned to work processes and estimate time required for completion by those individuals.
Good team leader able to build and maintain a cohesive team. Should have worked continuously in consultancy companies, EPC frame of mind is desired
Estimation of the man-hours and schedule for new proposals.
Responsible for quality and schedule of the deliverables of the projects handled (like 3D Models, plot plans, equipment arrangements, piping GAD's, Isometrics and material take offs)
Responsible for all the activities of the project handled including the quality of the deliverables.
Supervise Detailed Engineering activities like VDR, TBA, TQ, Model Review, HSE Review, Constructability review etc.,
Participation in HAZOP Reviews
Qualification: BE/ME in Mechanical.
Age group around 40-45 years / experience 15-20years in Piping design with a engineering consultancy organization.
