Designation : Lead Mechanical Engineer

Qualifications & Experience: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 15 Years Experience.

Overall Summary:
Professional Mechanical Engineer with proven experience in engineering designs, from conceptual stage through detailed design for medium to large size projects in the Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbons, and/or Infrastructure industries. Demonstrated technical and managerial leadership of large teams Mechanical engineers and designers in an engineering office environment. Ability to discuss critical issues with client, management, engineers, and designers. Thorough knowledge of projects engineering practices, economics principles, international standards, codes, specifications, and procedures. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the Mechanical Department

* Resource planning, recruitment to build capacity and the technical skills 

* Responsible for employee performance appraisals, coaching and career development

* Ensure that established and approved work processes, including QA/QC, are strictly adhered to 

* Responsible for Technical Quality and Design Integrity of all Piping and Mechanical deliverables 

* Provide guidance, as required, to Lead Engineers and designers for:

study, design and material specifications for process and utilities piping, process equipment (static, rotating, and package units) specification, miscellaneous 
scoping of projects, including piping and mechanical deliverables
development of work plans for Piping and Mechanical project teams
review and approve deliverables
provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team on-schedule delivery of the work within budget
* Serve as technical resource to the engineer and designers in the department.
