Operating as the Owners Engineer my client is about to embark on large scale pump storage project in Egypt. When completed the project will be produce 1500+ MW of Power. The main objective of Plant is the development of the region to meet the electricity needs of citizens and secure electricity surplus to be sold to neighbouring countries with different peak periods. For this contract they are seeking a Project Manager.
Although the position is working with the owners engineer my client is open to receiving CVs of manufacture experience such Alston Hydro etc.
Project Description: Large scale Water-Pumping Power Station, 8 Units in total producing in excess of 200MW.
Project Manager: He/she will manage the Constriction of Project, working alongside the client supervision Contractor(s) on site.
- MSc degree in Civil/ Mechanical or electrical Engineering
- Postgraduate experience of 25+ years
- Minimum 15 years in hydropower (preferably pump storage)
- Previous experience working in Africa/ Middle East
- English language fluent
JOB CONDITIONS
- Assignment based in Egypt
- Accommodation on site and with medical and travel insurance
- Duration of assignment is 24 month contract
Salary Package: 10,000 - 12,000 USD (net of local taxes)
Mobilisation: ASAP - August - September 2017
