Role: Pipeline Integrity Engineer
Location: Chicago
Responsibility:
Reporting to the Manager of Engineering, the Pipeline Integrity Engineer role will be Contract Hire for a period of 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
Specific tasks include:
- Validate records for integrity-related pipeline work using a variety of applications across multiple platforms
- Confirm the accuracy of data related to location, defect measurement, engineering calculations, and other information pertinent to a particular activity
- Obtain any missing documentation and correct inaccurate documentation by communicating with various internal and 3rd parties
- Relay and troubleshoot specific and trending issues with Integrity Engineer Decision Making: Makes routine decisions and recommendations using established guidelines, procedures or policies related to pipeline integrity programs, within authorized limits
- QA/QC for existing work
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Pipeline operations
- Ability to handle and process large amounts of data
Education/Experience:
- Engineering Degree in relevant field with 1-4 years' experience from graduation
