Job Overview:
CB&I Charlotte is looking for an experienced individual to work as a Piping Design Checker in the piping and plant layout design group. This individual will need to have checking experience and be very familiar with plant layout and piping systems. The successful candidate will be familiar and willing to work with piping designers within the company in any location as a team player.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Check piping isometrics
- Adhere to applicable codes, standards, and vendor requirements
- Understand contractual requirements, design scope and criteria
- Ensure compliance with client and company's requirements
- Validate designer clash detection Is proficient in design of sloped piping systems
- Comply with client contract and company standards in conjunction with Engineering and Project Management
- Promote teamwork, be an active team member
- Be willing to work in Charlotte, NC
