Airswift - Pipeline Engineer. 6 Month Contract - San Antonio
Airswift has been tasked by one of our key clients; an exploration and production company to source a Pipeline Engineer on an initial 6 month contract based in San Antonio, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Develop preliminary plans, detailed scopes of work, cost estimates, schedules & execution plans.
- Manage assigned design, engineering, procurement, construction, start-up & commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with surface land, environmental, safety & regulatory representatives to obtain construction approvals.
- Develop and maintain project status and cost forecasting reports as needed to support projects.
- Evaluate & document project scope changes, budgets, and/or schedules.
- Review project plans for code compliance (49 CFR 192, 49 CFR 195, RRC, etc.) and industry standards.
- Works closely with the Operations to ensure proper installation and handover of the project.
- Must be a self-starter and self-motivator, ability to perform effectively with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and the capability to meet deadlines when implementing multiple initiatives.
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with co-workers, vendors, customers & contractors.
Ability to cooperatively work with people and accept supervision and direction.
Previous experience required:
- 5+ years experience gained in a similar position
- Previous onshore oil & gas experience; ideally working for a exploration and production company
- Microsoft Project experience
