The role will play an important part of the project team and the successful candidate will be a key point of contact involved in managing the interface between the Contractor personnel and Principal Contractor site team.  You will manage certain duties for the delivery and efficient day-to-day running of the project which will include the management of a wide range of services requiring the following:
  • Promotion and management of health, safety, and quality.
  • Support in commercial aspects of cost control and claims/risk processes.
  • Support of Programme objectives and meeting deadlines.
  • Scheduling new work notably for foundation snags/compliance activities and SIMOPS planning.
  • Project reporting.
You will be responsible for day to day management of the OSC contractor responsibilities in the following areas:
  • Maintenance of the facilities including offices, CTV reception, quayside and refuelling areas.
  • Maintenance of existing safe systems of work including induction, permits, PPE, marine management system, communications.
  • Maintenance, snagging and repair of foundation assets including task planning and SIMOPS.
  • Management of Emergency Response Teams and secondary work activities; and
  • Management of Crew Transfer Vessels, Offshore Services Vessel, Guard Vessel.
The Assistant PM will be expected to work closely with the Package Manager, Package Commercial Manager and other package teams within the project.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Experience in a similar role with competencies in some or all of the following:
    interface management, change management, project management and contract management.
  • Some experience in managing offshore contracts in either the Offshore Wind Energy industry, Submarine Telecommunications or Oil & Gas preferred.
  • High regard and good knowledge of current UK health, safety and environmental legislation, particularly the application of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015.
  • Highly motivated individual with a pro-active attitude ensuring adequate interfaces, controls and communication are established and maintained.
  • Demonstrable communication skills at all levels in Project organisation.
  • Ability to identify a problem or conflict, identify and analyse potential solutions leading to a recommendation for cost effective resolution.
