We are currently recruiting for a Piping Design Engineer to represent ENERCON at a customer site in Oak Ridge, TN. This role requires a currently active DOE Q Clearance (US Citizenship Required). We hope to fill this position ASAP, and it is expected to last at least 1 year. Piping Designer for Y-12 consisting of providing design CAD drawings, walk-downs and inspections for process piping and utility piping systems in support of nuclear and non-nuclear projects at Y-12 and Pantex. Design involves the preparation of conceptual design and title II output documents including P&IDs, piping drawings, construction drawings, utility drawings bills of material for cost estimating, man-hour estimates, standard calculations, data sheets and equipment specifications. Experience with 3D modeling using Bentley software is desirable. Services are primarily required to support additional Lithium, Calciner and ER work (UCL3). QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently Active DOE Q Clearance Required.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology OR 15-20 years of progressive, relevant education and experience in piping design.
