My client, a successful and ambitious technology company, are looking for an Engineering Project Manager to provide engineering and technical leadership across a range of areas relating to the development and delivery of energy storage solutions. The business have been gaining a lot of momentum in Energy Storage markets and are looking for an experienced Engineer, to effectively deliver on these vital projects.
The business are developing a portfolio of energy storage assets that provide reliable flexibility into this marketplace. The company have an ambition to become a leading developer of energy storage, which would include battery systems.
Engineering Project Manager Responsibilities:
*Delivery of storage projects, meeting time, quality and budget guidelines
*Ownership of site electrical configurations and designs for integration of storage
*Meeting commercial requirements by ensuring timely delivery of grid connection aspects of site deployments
*Evaluating technical proposals of HV storage systems
*Maintaining and developing, new and existing partnerships with technology suppliers, including HV power electronics and energy storage systems
*Technology specifications development
*Site feasibility assessments
The Ideal Engineering Project Manager:
*Strong electrical engineering background, ideally to degree level, and at least 5 years' of relevant work experience
*Understanding of power systems engineering
*Technical project delivery and project management methodologies experience
*Experience in leading both technical and commercial engagement with suppliers of energy storage
*Specification, design, tendering or operation of HV electrical equipment for energy storage installations
*Competence in identifying and resolving a range of technical power systems engineering issues for networks
*Organised and strong attention to detail in managing projects
*Ability to work effectively with engineering organisations and customers / stakeholders
