Graduate Trainee & Internship Program - MDR Chennai - 2014


McDermott Chennai is pleased to announce the start of recruitment process for this year for our Internship program and Graduate Trainee Program.

For Internship Program 2014 and Graduate Trainee Program 2014, applications are invited from eligible candidates. Eligible candidates may send CVs to: gmanoharan@mcdermott.com on or before 7th February, mentioning the program (name) in the subject line.

Internship Program

To Provide successful candidates with an opportunity to improve their skills as well as the experience by working in an international environment. The program helps McDermott in evaluating the suitability of the candidate as graduate hire for the subsequent year.

Guidlines
•   Currently enrolled full time in a Bachelor’s degree program (should have successfully completed at least one year of full-time study and continuing with the study upon completion of internship.

Age 25 or younger.
•   
Should be able to pass through McDermott selection criteria defined by the management which may include a psychometric testing, a written test followed by a personal interview.
•          Required documents including CV, residence proof, references, mark sheets & other educational documents of previous study will have to be validated by McDermott.
•          Self supported housing and subsistence.
•          Internship can be for any duration between 4 weeks up to a max of 8 weeks, depending upon the needs of the function / business and internship requirements as well as McDermott management’s discretion.

Graduate Trainee Program

Graduate Trainee Program (GTP) is to attract, recruit, develop and retain graduates who have the potential to make high-level contributions to McDermott (MDR). The GTP offers a unique opportunity to the participant (Trainee) in an accelerated learning program that will develop the participant - both personally and professionally.

Guidelines
•          CGPA ( Cumulative Grade points Average) should be 7.5 and above from SSLC, HSC and Degree
•          No History of Arrears.
•          Should be 2014 pass-out batch.
•          Should be able to pass through McDermott selection criteria defined by the management which includes a psychometric testing, a written test followed by a personal interview.
•          Required documents including CV, residence proof, references, mark sheets & other educational documents of previous study will have to be validated by McDermott.
•          The participant’s application should be supported by the relevant documents attached to it.
