JOB DESCRIPTION:-
Shall be experienced to perform drafting and design inone or more of the followingMechanical design and drafting areas related to Oil and Gas projects: equipment layout,Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID's), piping layout, and piping support. The candidate must have fundamental piping knowledge and pipe routing skills. Candidate must be able to read P&IDs and route complete large bore and small borepiping systems from P&ID's and
vendor equipment data.
-Additionally, the candidate must also have a basic knowledge of pipe support systems and pipe support types for cold and hot systems and the ability to read and understand vendor drawings for tanks, equipment valves, etc.
Responsibilities include, ensuring the design layout anddrawings are complete and meet requirements and all applicable codes and standards.
-Design layout and drawings shall be compliant with recommended practices, sketches, notes and any written or verbal instructions given, as well as all project design requirements.
-The candidate must be capable of performing field walk downs at client facilities for the purpose of determining field routings and tie-in locations.
-Significant experience with PDMS or PDS is highly desirable. Experience designing and routing various power piping systems is also desired.
