Location:- Qatar
Exp:- 12 to 18 years
Qualification:- BE/ B. Tech./ ME / M. Tech. Mechanical Engineer
Contract for 12 Months, extendable.
CTC:- 18000 QR PM basic tax free + family status Accommodation with free water / electricity + QR 1,800 as food allowance + company transportation + children education fees + visa/medical/insurance/yearly air ticket for candidate and his family

Senior Project Engineer: (Mechanical Projects):
Reports to: Engineering Project Division Manager
Basic Function and Scope
The Project Engineer exercised his functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration for successful completion of engineering projects with in area of assigned responsibility.
He is the focal point with regards to the management of the project (FMP) and shall be the single point of contact in all related matters
He is expected to handle multiple projects at any point of time.
It is also anticipated that he will be involved with coaching & developing National staff, in accordance with the Qatarization policy.
Tasks and Duties:
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans.
Determine Project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards, arranging for cost estimates.
Determine project schedule by monitoring the project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements sequencing project elements.
Maintain Project schedules by Monitoring project progress, coordinating activities and resolving problems.
Control project plans by reviewing design specifications, and plan and schedule changes, recommending actions.
Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends and recommend actions.
Control Expenditures within limitation of project budget.
Shall be aware of the criticality of the projects and direct all efforts in ensuring the timely completion of the projects.
Shall ensure that all required Documentation (including Share point uploads) CSMS, Lesson Learnt and Contractor Performance Evaluations are in Place before handover of the project.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
experience in Oil and Gas Project.
fluent in English language (demonstrated verbal and written skills).
Computer literate and knowledgeable in relevant software tools and specifications.
Should be proactive, a self-starter, and be able to work with
minimum supervision.
Able to plan, monitor, and coordinate work activities.
Must be familiar in MS/Primavera planning software.
Thorough knowledge of Piping engineering/design, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and start-up principles, theories and concepts.
Thorough knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and trade practices (e.g., ASME, ASTM, API, NFPA, NACE, MSS).
