Job Opening for Engineering Manager - Oman

Our one of the client is in need of the below engineering staff for one of their Oil and Gas Projects for Oman and for the same the client interview has been organized at Delhi on 23rd June. 2013. Only short listed candidates will be called for personal interview with the Client. Below are the categories.

1) Engineering Manager : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 15 years experience and Maximum 25 years with 10 years experience in engineering management and control and should have completed minimum two end to end major EPC Projects of Oil & Gas, Power Projects with EPC Companies or Consultancy Organizations.

* Knowledge of International specifications and codes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Selection of Engineering Consultants, finalization of scope of work, engineering documents schedule and their progress measuring system.
2. Arrange design inputs from Client, other agencies for carrying out engineering activities. Participate in the Planning and Scheduling of engineering activities.
3. Monitor the Engineering progress, address shortfalls, develop recovery plans and ensure plans made are implemented.
4. Co-ordination with External Design Consultants, In-house design team for multidiscipline quality engineering documents as per agreed engineering schedule and contract specifications.
5. Act as the interface between the Engineering team and the Project Management team and ensure smooth transfer of information between the two.
6. Multidiscipline engineering interface coordination between Design consultant, client, in- house design team and Vendors etc.
7. Submission of Engineering Documents to Client & Client"s Consultant ( PMC ) and resolving the client comments with Engineering consultant and obtaining the approval of the same.
8. Control and optimization of engineering to meet project cost control budget.

2) Sr. Project Engineer : B.E Mechanical with around 15 years of work experience, most of which in a Design Engineering consultancy handling Project Management & Project Coordination of EPC Projects, salary will be in the range of RO 2800 - RO 3000+ + 24 days paid leave after completion of 12 months of service.

3) Lead Planning Engineer : BE Graduate (Mech) with around 12- 15 years of experience in Planning , scheduling and monitoring of EPC/ Construction projects in O&G projects. He should be well versed with P6 and have should have atleast 2-3 years of GCC work experience.

Position demands Family status and salary will be in the range of RO 1600- RO1800 per month (Incl. HRA+ Family Status), he shall also be eligible for 24 days paid leave after completion of 12 months of service with return Airticket.
