Position : Sr Manager - Engineering Services

Skills Required:.
* Hands on exp in engineering Change Order Management (ECO/MCO/ECN)
* Creating setup like product Number, BOM Structure etc in PLM (Product Life Cycle Management) and ERP
* Creating part numbers for BOM in agile PLM & ERP
* Downloading customer documents like product specifications etc & releasing same
* Work as a Change Analysts during NPI for new changes
* Release Part list to production for new models & after implementation of ECO's
* Component Engineering, Component end-of-life (EOL) notifications and part change notifications (PCN"s)
* Expert knowledge of electronic components and their applications to quickly evaluate the severity of EOL"s and PCN"s
* Familiar with circuit design principles and board layout guidelines
* Enter and maintain component data and manufacturer information, product BOMs, approved vendor lists in global component database
* Provide guidance regarding part selection, design concepts, specification requirements, critical components and alternate sources.
* Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams from sites to assess component obsolescence risks, and proactively work with suppliers to identify and implement appropriate alternatives.
* Part of a cross-functional team in implementing product component changes within the Company
* Develop parts catalog component database.
* Manage Environmental Compliance
* Manage, control and direct staff to achieve KPIs for these Engineering processes
* Ensures a high degree of customer satisfaction by managing and directing staff activities required to meet this expectation.
* Ensure Best in Class Customer Service to all sites
* Coordinates with Sites to ensure smooth transitions and day to day operations
* Develops, implements and maintains policies, procedures and material control systems.
* Good in people management and reporting
* Perform Quarterly / Annual performance appraisals for the team members
* Mentor the team and guide them towards effective discharge of functions
* Drive Continuous Improvement of Engineering Process using Lean Six Sigma
