Purpose of Position:
- The Senior Piping Designer shall have the ability to layout piping systems on Oil and Gas projects and ensure the layouts are in accordance with BP engineering specifications, using 3D based programs and experience. The Senior Piping Designer shall have adequate experience to adopt a practical approach to piping layout problems and be familiar with the requirements/interactions of other engineering disciplines.
Key Accountabilities of Position:
- Responsible for safe working practices both personally and for the Civil / Structural designers in the team, using the WorleyParsons OneWay framework.
- Responsible for personal safety and safe working practices. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
- Ensure the design and drafting team understands and applies the WorleyParsons quality management system.
- Develop positive client and project relationships.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously.
