 ROLE: Senior level position in Piping.

Key activities/responsibilities:

Co-ordinate with Technology Providers and Detailed Engineering Contractors to resolve all technical issues

Review and co-ordinate all deliverables of the Detailed Engineering Contractor in this discipline

Engineering and project related documentation: Responsible for coordination for the review, approval from the technology vendors and/or clients and maintenance of all engineering and project execution related documentation

Responsible for timely delivery and version control of drawings

Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation and enquiries floated by EPC/EPCM vendor

Contribute to creation of contract documentation for issue and analysis of enquiries/tenders

Contribute to vendor technical evaluation, approvals and development

Contribute to cost estimates for equipments and services to be procured

Participate in technical and commercial evaluation of proposals and ensure relevant standards / specifications are met

Supervise / review technical inspection and product acceptance in collaboration with third party inspection agencies and EPCM agencies

Certification of vendor bills for equipments and services for payment and raising of payment requests

Review all change orders, co-ordinate with required agencies and facilitate approval

Ensure document control Recruitment Profile (Qualification, Experience)

Full time B.Tech / BE in Mechanical engineering from reputed University (preferably Masters)

20+ years of experience in project engineering function with at least five years in a senior role (Chemical / petrochemical industry). Additional experience in oil & gas industry is an advantage

For Piping: Experience with projects handling metallic + non-metallic + cross country piping

Maximum age limit: 52 years

Demonstrable experience of leading the discipline in the project engineering function

Experience in global projects desirable
