Accountabilities
Activities
1. Understanding AGP
- To keep the overall costs under AGP guidance with control on cost per hour
2. Negotiate with external vendors
- Ensure to have optimum costs for production, with an eye on overall expenses and benchmarking
3. Deal with internal stakeholders
- Understand requirement of Internal Stakeholders, with a cost benefit analysis, fitment with AGP guidance and negotiate accordingly
4. Reporting
- To ensure continuous reporting of portfolio to senior management within timeline
Challenges
- Stakeholder Management Manage the expectations of Programming Head and Business Head with most optimum costs and ensuring right delivery at right time
- Commercial Approval Arrange for commercial approvals with proper benchmarking of costs, vendor comparison and timely delivery of POs, signing of contracts and ensuring payments at right time
Key decisions person will be taking in the course of the job
- Whether a particular show is negotiated to most optimum cost or not, whether there is a scope of more reduction with no compromise on quality
- Negotiation of contracts with vendors, taking decisions on crucial clauses, keeping the best interest of our organization in mind
