Position - Senior Position in Piping

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCES:
Broad and extensive knowledge of:
Industry design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria. These include:
oASME B31.1 and B31.3; ASME B16 series; API 6A, 6D and RP 14E; API 598, 600, 602, 607, 608, 609 and 623; EJMA
oCAESAR II analysis software, including performing static and dynamic analysis of complex piping systems.
oFamiliarity with commercially available 3D Modeling programs
Onshore and offshore facilities design
Bachelor of Engineering Discipline.
At least 15 years of closely related professional experience.
Strong organizational, management, and technical judgment skills.
Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
Strong leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational, coordination, planning, and interface skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak English.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs,
Willing and able to travel as required, both domestic and international.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Supports piping engineering needs across the Upstream Facilities organization
Conducts detailed technical evaluations to address issues with equipment and system design, operation and maintenance.
Reviews project and contractor deliverables as requested to ensure compliance with project specifications, GPs, Design Practices, Static Equipment Toolkit guidance, and best practices. Documents to be reviewed may include Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs), piping arrangements, piping material specifications, data sheets, vendor proposals, and technical studies,
Participates in design reviews, risk assessments, HAZOPs, vendor qualification, and vendor bid evaluations as requested.
Supports functional initiatives and maintains discipline documentation pertinent to Upstream Facilities .
Provides technical mentorship to less experienced engineers with emphasis in areas of identified skill gaps.
Proactively and continuously grows disciplines technical expertise in pertinent technologies.
