Detailed Description
- Under direction is responsible for the execution of a significant piece of engineering work;
- When necessary, supervises more junior engineers within the same area of responsibility;
- Must be familiar with relevant codes, client Design Specifications and procedures, and have a thorough working knowledge of the latest design and analytical techniques;
- Planning, budgeting, organizing and coordinating the discipline projects at hand;
- Ensure effective communication and interface definition between all disciplines for design development, review and check processes;
- Required to make decisions on engineering problems and methods, demonstrating creativity, foresight and mature engineering judgment;
- Actively train and encourage the development of junior staff to fulfill discipline engineering roles;
- Provide detailed discipline engineering inputduring all design phases, including interpretation of standards;
- Provide highest quality discipline input intoconceptual design teams.
