Job Role / Responsibilities
Acting as the Piping and Mechanical Design Engineer your responsibilities will be inclusive of; but not limited to:
- Managing various aspects of structural integrity of mechanical components related to ASME Section III code for the construction/operation of existing or new Nuclear power plants;
- Supervising all the calculations of the ASME III mechanical and piping components
- Guiding colleagues in Finite-Elements Studies (SYSTUS, ANSYS or / and PIPESTRESS code) for thermal and pressure fatigue evaluation of mechanical and piping components with respect to ASME code;
- Conducting the technical and commercial follow up of the contracts, including interfaces management
- Writing component technical specifications (performances, scope of supply and limits of supply definition ,design requirements, applicable ASME III criteria to meet).
Requirements
For this role the client that ewi recruitment is working with have a minimum requirement of a degree and a minimum of 5 year experience working within the Nuclear Power sector; specifically within stress and fatigue analysis of pressure vessels.
In addition to this the ideal expert must have an understanding of and a minimum of 5 years experience in the application of pressure vessel codes such as ASME III, ASME VIII, RCC-M, CODAP …

Salary Package
The salary package consists of a package upwards of €8000 EURO + Benefits. My client is able to negotiable on this role for the right candidate
