Project Manager - Demand Side Response - £Competitive
A hugely successful and rapidly growing company that offer demand side response solutions to commercial business, are looking for a Project Manager to provide engineering and technical leadership in rolling out projects across multiple sites (200+). The business have been gaining a lot of momentum in the DSR market and require a Project Manager to aid the growth of the business in the delivery of these vital projects.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
*To manage multi-site energy project roll outs
*To produce and coordinate Request for Quote and Request for Tender documentation
*Oversee quotation and tender processes
*Undertake detailed Due Diligence on technical solution proposed
*To produce a detailed technical specification, acceptance & testing regime to be implemented throughout the project
*To manage contractual and operational interface between project stakeholders (including customer, regulatory bodies, subcontractors, etc.)
*Establishing strong relationships with commercially orientated businesses (Supermarkets, Hotels, etc.)
*To continually evaluate new technologies entering the market as to their commercial viability
The ideal Project Manager:
*Experience in the UK electrical engineering and grid services sector
*Direct experience of project management responsibilities on energy projects
*Experience of dealing with multi-site (200+) complex technical roll outs
*Understanding and interest in demand side response, intelligent aggregation and smart grid
*Accustomed to fast paced environments
*Experience of producing detailed specifications/employer requirements with commercial customers
*Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
