Amec Foster Wheeler is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Set up, plan, lead, manage and conduct (cross functional) projects within the assigned resources, costs and completion dates across all relevant project phases
- Lead the project execution in compliance with company procedures and best practices, with accountability on project objectives
- Utilize project management methodologies, systems and tools as defined by the company
- Issue periodic project reports, internally and to client, as per company policies / procedures and applicable project execution plan
- Be accountable for quality, cost and schedule project targets both internally and vs the client
- An ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost and employee relations
- Support proposal activities
- Support Business Development activities
Skills / Qualifications
- MSc degree in mechanical, chemical or process engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the role, 10 years experience in mid-size / large engineering companies (experience in the pharmaceutical/ biotechnology sector is mandatory (GMP environment)
- Successful experience in people management in cross functional teams
- Proven project management experience with capability of working independently on multiple projects, and ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines
- Excellent organization skills and ability to operate effectively in a multicultural, matrix organization where the workload requires balancing multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Ability to deal with other disciplines
- Familiar with project management tools
- Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with management, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in German and in English
