Position Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the Project Management (PMO) in France and supporting the team based in our offices in Orsay and Marseille, you manage the implementation and follow-up of the major projects of studies and Supply of new components within EDF's nuclear power plants by ensuring overall control of the process (from the supply phase to the finalization of the project).
  • You are responsible for the financial follow-up, the delivery of deadlines and the compliance with the requirements for the perimeter entrusted to you.
  • Customer first-level interface on major installations or modifications within French CNPE, you manage the projects under the technical aspects, costs, delays and respect of the quality.
  • You supervise the work of the project team throughout the different stages: the tendering phase with the technical negotiation, the realization of the preliminary studies, the management of the supply and construction of factory, the qualification as well as on-site implementation.
  • Guaranteeing compliance with the requirements in terms of internal processes, you control the preparation of the technical response of the tender, the cost estimates as well as the analysis of the risks inherent in the project. You take part in the technical negotiation and the supervision of any revisions of offers.
  • Using the appropriate services, you prepare the planning of the resources and equipment allocated to the project.
  • Good communicator, your relational qualities are assets in your exchanges with all your internal and external clients.
  • With the help of the various internal stakeholders (Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Purchasing, Quality, Supervision and Supplier Monitoring, PMO, etc.) and external (EDF, service providers, etc.) Project reviews, challenge reviews, creation and maintenance of projects under SAP, monitoring and closing of projects ...  
  • Customer satisfaction and fulfilment are your priorities. In this way, you are able to identify the possible endorsements to be made on our contracts and make every effort to effectively resolve the potential hazards. You are able to take observation notes in a goal of continuous improvement and feedback.  
  • You are vigilant about the safety and the safety of the people involved in the project and know how to supervise and evaluate the performance of your team.
Profile
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and possess, ideally, an additional training in project management obtained as part of a project manager (obtaining the PMP or equivalent is a plus).
  • You have at least 8 years experience in project management of engineering and supply of new components in the nuclear sector in the context of the application of the ESPN decree and the RCCM codes.
  • Also, a knowledge of the nuclear domain and the EDF client as well as the acquisition of concepts of one or more nuclear standards (RCCM code, ESPN, NTAQ ...) are real assets for your application.
  • You have a minimum level of knowledge in the technical fields related to the supply of new components of pressure equipment (forging, welding, non-destructive testing, etc.).
  • You are fluent in Microsoft Office and have a good level of written and spoken French & English. Additionally, travel to customer sites for customer meetings, suppliers and Westinghouse sites in Europe or the United States is to be expected.
