A Project Manager / Site Supervisor is required for a permanent position to work on customer projects/sites located mainly in the UK (must be flexible to work on some customer sites that may be located around Europe). You will be required to oversee protects and be responsible for the completion of plant installation projects within budget and on time.
You should have a background of having previously worked as a Project Manager / Site Supervisor within the automotive, aerospace or similar industry sectors. You will need to be methodical and accurate with strong communication and problem solving skills. You will be self-motivated and have the ability to prioritise and plan workloads and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will be required to have a flexible approach and be able to work independently and within a team.
Key Skills and experience for the Project Manager / Site Supervisor vacancy:
- Experience of capital plant /plant equipment installation (conveyors, ovens, booths, pipework, robotics/assembly line, ducting/ductwork, HVAC).
- Knowledge of automotive/aerospace or similar industry sector.
- Experience of managing teams of contractors.
- Experience of site supervision.
- Experience of CDM and managing site health & safety (IOSH, NEBOSH, SMSTS) will be considered an advantage.
- HNC/HNC minimum in a relevant engineering field.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must have a valid driver's licence.
- Must be flexible to travel to customer sites in the UK and Europe.
- Must be able to work for several days/weeks away from home.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK & Europe.
