First Quantum Minerals are seeking an experienced and energetic professional to joint their team in Panama at our Cobre Project. To be successful in this position you will have demonstrated experience of the below, and you will be seeking a rewarding position on an 8/2 Fly in Fly out Roster. Experience in the listed criteria will be essential. Ideally you will speak Spanish and English and will be seeking Project work.
Job Description / Responsibilities:
- Accountable and responsible for the planning and scheduling of the mechanical and piping activities to be performed.
- Accountable and responsible for the planning and coordination of M&P construction activities
- 5 plus years of related work experience in the mining or oil and gas industries.
- 5 plus years supervisory or planning experience.
- Coordinate gathering of field progress from the Supervisors/Foremen and ensuring jobs expectation are met.
- Experience in the following areas: projects management and project controls
- Provide critical path analysis or time impact analysis in P6.
- Experience in the following areas: projects management and project controls
- Primary accountability is to gather and amalgamate all mechanical and piping activities including schedule and critical path.
- Coordinate with all discipline Planner and specialists the planning for all related work orders that are within the scope of the area assigned.
- Coordinate material coordinator to ensure all required materials to execute the jobs.
- Planning report and ensure all as constructed jobs were properly documented and closed up as per the company standard and industries best practices.
- Input and continuous improvement of the planning, scheduling and data integrity processes and standards.
