Shipping & Logistics coordination.
Getting Permission from Das VTS Before ships Departure.
Plans coordinates and supervises various activities related to vessels acceptance arrival departure berthing and unberthing.
Reporting to marine superintendent Daily Operations and marine operation manger.
Keep and maintain records of the transport movements.
Prepare packing list and other documents needed to ship goods /Arranging 3rd party inspections.
Shipping & Logistics coordination
Supervision for loading, unloading of cargo at port.
Supervision Cargo operation teams at offshore jetties.
Arranging cargo transportation from SARB Island to other ports.
Assisting the marine superintendent in managing the owned and contracted marine fleet operating in sarb island.
Ensuring by vessel inspection and audit that any vessels utilised by Company comply with applicable International and local legislation.
Responsible for the issuing of temporary or permanent notices and instructions affecting navigation or marine safety, by promoting safety awareness onboard of vessels.
Ensuring compliance of vessels with the requirements of the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code.
Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Companys policies and procedures. Ensuring the protection of assets and the environment at all times.
-Graduate. -More than 5 yrs extensive experience as MARINE TRANSPORTATION COORDINATOR
Bachelors degree in Marine Transportation, Science or Engineering or equivalent experience in marine operations
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
Knowledge of Marine vessels and barges.
Detailed and up to date knowledge of Marine legislation.
Ability to work on own initiative as well as work within a team
