- Must be able to understand NC machine programs and develop machine processes from part drawings.
- Project management from project feasibility study till mass production.
- Develop new process for new project and review existing product to improve productivity such as yield and efficiency.
- Prepare process drawing and tool layout by using Autocad.
- Understand core tool such as PFMEA, MSA, APQP, PPAP, SPC & etc.
- Participate in drafting and preparing control plan.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis of Scrap and Rework issues.
- To optimize machining time versus tooling cost.
- Participate in daily troubleshooting of production floor problems.
- Develop, implement and train manufacturing personnel in manufacturing procedures.
- Establish process/product capability and strive for continuous improvement.
- Determine disposition of non-conforming materials.
- Support company values including ethical conduct and high integrity in all actions.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by management.
- Preferably 3 years shop floor machining experience in automotive industries.
- Must be methodology, strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities.
- Knowledge in lean manufacturing and Kaizen.
- Excellent communication skills in English both spoken and written.
