We have an Urgent Requirement for one of the Largent Client in Oman, the Client is M/s. The Oman Construction Co. LLC (TOCO) -Oman. Shortlisting is in process.
The position and job description is as below :
1) Pipeline Engineer –
Education - B.Tech or BE Mechanical Engineering
Experience - Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in onshore oil and gas construction. Minimum 5 year experience gained in the Middle East. Must have construction experience on Cross Country Pipeline / flow lines, Wellhead hook-ups and above ground pipelines work involving various materials (CS,SS, Duplex SS experience an advantage).
Language ability: - Fluent in written and spoken English, Understanding of spoken Arabic is preferred.
PDO/Oxy Experience - Preferred in similar position.
Job summary: -
1. Supervising the discipline construction and commissioning activities in safe manner, within budget, in accordance with applicable Company procedures and technical specifications.
2. To review the scope of construction works and identify for any anomalies prior and during construction.
3. To monitor the HSE performance of all construction contractors in the area (against the departmental, projector Contract HSE plan)and to ensure that all work Sites under his control are operating in a safe manner.
4. To review Contractors plan and ensure Project targets are met.
5. To sign (within the limits of assigned technical authority) the test pack after completion of individual jobs making sure that the job has been done according to company standards and regulation and Site is clean do any scrap.
6. To plan for station or part of station shutdown with Operations.
7. To review marked-up as built drawings of the completed job before handover to operations and project engineer. To highlight any deviations from the original design to the Head of Construction
8. Ensure that scheduled requirement is always met and ensure quality deliverable. Promote a plan–execute–measure–feedback work loop method in construction activities.
