Vacant Position : Asphalt Laying General Foreman/Supervisor
Work Location : Sultanate of Oman
Qualification and Experiences:
1. Average 10-12 years experiences.
2. Diploma Holder
3. Good command in English
4. Computer Literacy is an advantage
5. Good leadership quality to lead and guide the crew
6. Asphalt laying procedures starting from primary up to final rolling.
7. Sensor system erection for pavers before and during laying.
8. Methods of Asphalt rolling starting from initial stage, sealing rolling and finishing rolling.
9. Timing of paving + rolling to achieve the maximum compaction required and the mix temperature.
10. Setting the conditions of asphalt laying to minimise asphalt wastage.
11. Basic knowledge in testing the asphalt mix before and after laying.
12. Preparation of joints longitudinal or transervse joints and the procedure of joining compaction.
13. Preparation of progress reports and ability to deal with the consultant.
14. Proper utilisation of asphalt equipment on site and proper management of the asphalt crew.
