REPORTING TO : Head Of Department
Function:Design / Design Lead for Power Plant Eqpt.
Department/ Location: Powai
Experience years : 15 – 20 yrs
Gender: Male Preferred / Suitable Female Candidate can also be considered
GraduateIPostgraduate in Mechanical Engineer (Chemicalwithrelevantexperiencecanbeconsidered)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:
JOB PROFILEIROLE DISCRIPTION:
1.Mechanical design experience for Heat Exchangers,presser Vessels,Reactors etc.
Preferably with material of construction as low alloysteel.
2.Working knowledge of Welding & Manufacturing of above equipment.
3.In-depth knowledge of various codes and standards applicable for above equipment's.E.g.ASME,PED,EN13445,TEMA,HEI,PTC,PD-5500 etc.
4.At least 5 yrs experience in guiding Engineers and Draftsmen to carryout above functions

1. Design of Condenser / FW heaters
2. Guiding and directing Engineers & Draftsmen
KEY SKILLS
Mandatory:
1. Design of condensers & heaters
2. Mentoring draftsmen & Engineers
3. Knowledge of codes & standards
Desirable skills:
4. Process guaranty test
5. Working Knowledge of Manufacturing
