Education B.E. (Mechanical)
Professional Experience 13+ years (Oil & Gas, Fertilizer)

Key relationships
Internal to organization: All disciplines
External to organization: Client, PMC and Construction team
Responsibilities
Ensure adherence to Job specifications, codes, standards and statutory Regulations.
Overall responsibility of Piping design work for project and proposals,
Interface with Client/ Licensor/ PMC to resolve the queries
Interface with other engineering disciplines and construction team to provide the timely and accurate inputs.
Conceptual/Detail engineering activities like development of Plot Plan/Equipment Layout, Piping Layout, Engineering Specifications & PipingMaterial.
Ensuring quality and correctness of all piping deliverables and inputs.
Activity & Manpower Planning, Progress monitoring and reporting.
Providing Field Engineering Support and Collection of inputs from site.
Support Project Engineering Manager in all technical discussions with the client
Participate in pre-bid meetings and negotiations with Vendors/client, seek technical clarifications
Support project team on contract administration throughout the project lifecycle (change orders, scope extensions)
Provide inputs to project engineering manager to prioritize change orders and build basis for negotiation with the client
Key competencies - Functional
Familiarity with National/ International Codes & standards, Specifications from reputed Licensors/Clients (EIL, UOP, Shell, Aramco etc.).
Having hands-on experience in Piping Stress Analysis, Piping material, 3-D Modeling (PDMS/PDS/SP 3D), Under-ground & Fire water piping layout is desired.
Min. experience of handling two detail engineering projects independently.
