REQUIREMENTS:
* This position requires a minimum educational background of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering together with a minimum of 15 years experience in the design and supply of piping and mechanical equipment for oil and gas development s. Candidates not in possession of a Degree will be considered with extended experience beyond the minimum of 15 years.
* A minimum 15 years experience in piping/mechanical designs- including 10 years practical field experience in design and troubleshooting of such systems for oil and gas facilities. Experience of steam generation, co-generation, mechanical vapor compression or thermal floods would be an advantage.
* Experience of Caesar II, Autocad, 3D pipe-routing /modeling, mechanical handling studies, piping codes, welding procedures, equipment foundation design, dynamic transient stress analysis, pressure vessel codes and design (ASME VIII), vapor compressors and heavy duty centrifugal pumps would all be an advantage.
* Experience of working as part of a multi discipline team for facilities engineering projects and/or major oil and gas development projects.
