Openings for PDMS Piping Designers - QATAR

Piping Designers – 5+ years of experience

· Should be having strong experience in site-visit & As-Built updating and in 2D design, isometric drawings creation, etc.. Should not be a 3D modeling guy..

· Very urgent and we need this candidate immediately for minimum 3 months deputation in Qatar

PDMS Coordinator – 15+ years of experience

· Responsible for the co-ordination of all PDMS activities within the PDMS design group of around 25 personnel.

· Ensure smooth operations within the design group in Doha, and also to liaise with other offices as required.

· Diploma Mechanical Engineering with fifteen (15) years relevant experience in oil & gas industry.

· Should have extensive expertise in PDMS piping design & engineering, and a knowledge of structural design and other disciplines would be an advantage.

· Familiarity in piping material specifications is essential.

· Fully familiar with hardware and software requirements of PDMS engineering for offshore facilities as well as model set-up and configuration, naming philosophies, PDMS model catalogues and specifications, PDMS 3D model deliverables, PDMS model hierarchy, design checks, clash checks, DICE reports, MTO Reports and 3D multidiscipline model colour coding.

· Familiarity with Laser Scanning and the PDMS interfaces would be an advantage.

· Be able to co-ordinate and administrate Project 3D PDMS design reviews, fully familiar with design contribution of multi-disciplines with regard to safety, operations, process compliance, maintenance, constructability and accessibility.

· Must possess good coordination / communication skills and very good knowledge of spoken and written English language, and must be able to work efficiently with client's personnel and their Vendors alike.
