Got the triple done and connected to the dyno. It was very tight at first because of the 6 packing seals. At 150PSI steam it started spinning slowly and the packings started to loosen and spin fast. Shortly thereafter it quit running because of rotor scuffing.

The highest recorded speed was 2334 RPM.
Conclusions are that it runs more like a steam turbine engine than a well sealed piston engine. And that it needs high RPM and a lot more steam pressure and duration to make any determination as to its usefulness. I think at 300+PSI and 5000+RPM It would start to make good power.
