Zen Thil: Pipeline Design Engineer Tigi Oil Service Tripoli

Urgent requirement of Pipeline Design Engineer for one of our renowned client Tigi Oil Service for Mabruk Oil Operations project in Tripoli, Libya.

Terms and Conditions:

* Employment Contract: 1 year (renewable)

* Work Location: Tripoli Office and sometimes conduct inspection

* Working Hours: 8 hours work per day and 6 days in a week

* Work Rotation: 6/1 (6 months Work and 1 month Off without pay)

* Education & Experience: BS Mechanical Engineering, with strong knowledge in PIPING & PIPELINE DESIGN related to Oil & Gas industry.

* Nationality: Indian

* Salary Range: From USD 300 to USD 350 per day Work (Off days are not paid)

Job Description

Activities

Engineering:

* Coordinate with construction engineers for the follow-up during projects phases to inspect piping works in progress and ensure that all works are carried-out in accordance with safety execution as required

* Review the adequacy in preparing of all test records; Piping log book, pre & post-test checklists, Pressure test certificates, P&ID's / Isometric drawings, approved procedures and inspection test plans (ITP), ie; welding procedures, NDT, hydro test, Radiography test, pigging, holiday test , etc.

* Review of IFC / AFC P&IDs isometric drawings, lay outs, analysis, hydraulics, technical specifications, Procedure Qualification Record (PQR), Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), Quality control Inspection Test Plan and other related project procedures. Contribute to preliminary hydraulic calculation for pipelines

* Prepare Prequalification requirements for Test (WPQT) and Non Destructive Testing (NDT)

* Inspect all incoming mechanical and piping materials, check physical appearance, quality, dimensions and specifications. Review mill certificates of materials received to ensure that the delivered material conforms to purchase order.

* Conduct pipe line checking and punch listing, involved in testing & commissioning and final acceptance.

* Prepare Material take-off (MTO) and cost estimates of new projects & modifications; prepare material requests and follow-up purchasing activities.

* Participate in bids technical documents preparation and evaluate contractor's bid and issue recommendations.

* Follow up and review engineering documentation related to his discipline as submitted by the Contractor.

* Issue of comments on Contractors documentation

* Update all technical files related to his works, apply all international codes, standards & General Specs to his discipline

* Participate in all technical meeting with Contractors and Vendors related to his works

* Participate in achieving smooth interface issues and defining battery limits.

Accountabilities

* To cover all aspects related to the discipline sufficiently and punctually.

* To report correctly to the superiors issues related to the discipline.

* Synthesises all Planning/Scheduling elements related to the Dept.

* Guarantee proper and correct comments on Contractor Documents

* Guarantee proper reviewing of documentation in time

* Contributes to the resolution of any contractual issues related to the discipline.

Qualifications / experience required

Education: BE/ BTech OR Diploma in a Mechanical Engineering, with strong knowledge in Piping & Pipeline Design related to oil & Gas

Professional experience:

BE/BTECH Professionals Must have at least 10 years of experience in various aspects of oil field Engineering & constructions some of which should have been acquired in projects

Diploma Professionals Must have at least 15 years of experience in various aspects of oil field Engineering & constructions some of which should have been acquired in projects
