Proposal Engineer - Civil/Mechanical
Duties and Goals:
* Fully review and understand the clients ITT/RFQ documents.
* Communicating the proposal strategy and directing the efforts of other internal departments in development of the Proposal document.
* Arrange and participate in bid decision meetings and contribute to proposal strategy.
* Liaise with internal departments (Engineering, Procurement, Project HSE and QA/CQ) to ensure that deadlines are met.
* Facilitate input from technical and commercial personnel as well as partner organizations/sub-contractors, where appropriate.
* Obtain subcontract and/or materials quotations as required.
* Preparation of Material /Quantity Take off from the drawings and deriving required resources and preparing cost estimates.
* Prepare and distribute proposal plans, schedules and responsibility matrices.
* Establish a proposal format in line with Client requirements and company procedures.
* Ensure that the proposal complies with company policies, procedures and practices in conjunction with Clint contractual requirements.
* Updating the Proposals Leader/Manager on a regular basis about progress and areas of difficulty.
* Ensure that the proposal document is compliant with ITT/RFQ requirements and/or identifies alternatives as appropriate.
* Arrange management review meetings and ensure that all agreed actions are incorporated into the final proposal document.
* Co-ordinating all pre-award correspondence with the client.
* Co-ordinate preparation of responses to clarification questions.
* Preparation of proposal presentation material, when required.
* To provide proposals and estimating data to Projects Managers following award of contract
* Co-ordinating the full handover to the Project Manager after award of contract.
Minimum Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering having minimum 10 years experience under Oil and Gas field.
* Proficient with MS office program
* A responsible, self motivated, meticulous and resourceful team player with good organizational and communication skills.
1) Maintenance Coordinators - 2 Persons - BE ( Mech.) with 10 to 15 Yrs experience in Oil & Gas / Petroleum sectors or Refineries. PDO or Gulf experienced persons will be given preference. Leave Cycle will be 98 /28 days with paid leave and return air ticket. Total monthly salary will be around OMR:1200/- - Interior based position - Bachelor Senior Status - Company will take care about his food, accommodation, medical and transport
2) Construction Site Managers - 2 Persons - BE ( Mech.) with 15 to 20 yrs Multi discipline construction experience in Oil & Gas / Petroleum Sectors or Refineries. PDO or Gulf experienced persons will be given preference. Leave cycle will be 98/28 days with paid leave and return air ticket. Total monthly salary will be around OMR:1500 to 2000 depends on qualification and experience - Interior based position - Bachelor Senior Status - Company will take care about his food, accommodation, medical and transportation.
