Position /Role: Senior Piping Engineer
Job Role & responsibilities:
· Perform and review piping design drawings and calculations submitted by external agencies. Selection of piping components and specialties as per international codes and stds. Like ASME, API, MSS-SP etc.
· Pipe support selection and perform stress analysis (static as well as Dynamic).
· Resolve plant piping vibration issues and other complex issues relevant for operating plants.
· Review piping and support specification, provide subject matter support to mechanical and piping design related issues
Knowledge/ Skills required:
· Degree qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
· Strong Analytical Skills.
· Business communication skills (reports, presentations etc).
· General level of computer literacy with working knowledge of software's.
· Adaptability to multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures and customs.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
· Knowledge of hydrocarbon and LNG safety procedures.
Experience:
Minimum 15 years experience as a mechanical engineer associated with Oil & Gas facilities design and trouble shooting, well versed with industry standards and international codes.
