Job Role
Design Engineer / Senior Design Engineer – Piping Layout
 
1. Job Purpose
To carry out review and detail engineering of project in the field of Refinery, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical  and other projects involving piping engineering.
 
2. Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities
1
Engineering activities and site support.
i.      Reviewing of engineering deliverables like Plot Plan Layout drawings, G.A drawings, Isometrics, Steam tracing schedules etc.
ii.     Forwarding the Waivers / Deviations raised by different groups involving piping for approval after checks.
iii.    Reviewing the accuracy of Online audit pertaining to the quality of the engineering deliverables
iv.    Review of other discipline inputs like P&ID, vessel drawings etc.

Plan and organize project related activities.
i.      Reviewing and finalization of delivery schedule of different engineering deliverables.
ii.     Monitoring of the actual progress pertaining to the delivery schedule.

Project Engineering Estimation
i.      Review of man hours estimated for Piping related engineering activities and forwarding the same to Projects as an input for project cost estimation.
 
3. Experience
Engineering Graduate with experience of 7 to 15 years in large Petrochemical, Refineries, Infrastructure, Power and Fertilizer Projects. Experience in Equipment Layout, Design, Isometrics.
