The most efficient thing to do with electrolysis under the hood may be
to use it as a catalyst for combustion. HHO (Brown's Gas) has been
studied for a long time. Never has broken the 2nd Law of
Thermodynamics. The energy to burn from Brown's Gas is less than the
energy that it took to create it, making HHO another negative Energy
Returned on Energy Invested (-ERoEI).
Still fascinating, though.
