Qualification& Experience
* Minimum Graduate in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in Downstream &/or Upstream oil & gas field operations & process in an oil & gas company preferably in Middle East.
* Candidates having work experience with Contractor companies will be preferred.
Job Description:
* Review& support management decisions for engineering project design for proposed Joint Venture Projects.
* Responsible for managing &/or contributing to one or more projects simultaneously from definition to hand over of projects.
* Ensure timely completion of approved projects at minimum cost, to the required technical specifications & in line with Company policies, objectives & procedures, meeting all quality, health, safety & environmental objectives.
* To review all proposed engineering designs& to manage the process of conceptual & detailed design.
* Ensure the integrity of engineering designs prepared in-house & by external design consultants in accordance with the agreed overall executing/contracting strategy through regular review & audits.
* To prepare project execution plan(PEPs), cost estimates, budgets & schedules.
* To execute projects within budget, schedule & meeting the required specification, quality & Health , Safety , Security & Environment requirements.
* To initiate & manage construction activities, to co-ordinate commissioning, handover activities & project close-out.
* To manage contract professionally to ensure contractual requirements / deliverables are met.
Experience:
* Optimization of plant performance.
* Preparation of equipment specifications to meet design requirements.
* Sizing of process system components.
* Preparingscope of work, feasibility studies, bid documents, equipment & system procurement, vender negotiations & budget planning.
* Supervising& administering turnkey projectsfrom concept to commissioning.
* Supervising a multidisciplinary & multicultural workforce & have a good understanding of best oilfield procedures & practices.
Other Details:
* Knowledge of process simulation software such as Hysys& Project Management software such as MS Projects & Primavera will be preferred.
* Good understanding of contractual matters.
* Good English communication, presentation & interpersonal skills is a must.
* Team player, self-motivated, results oriented with contractors, conceptual & flexible mindset.
* Well developed skill in coordinating with contractors, consultants & designers.
* Willingness& ability to operate in a multifunctional environment.
