Saudi Aramco and China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec) have agreed to formation of a joint venture related to the ongoing development of Yanbu Aramco Sinopec Refining Company (YASREF) Limited, formerly the Red Sea Refining Company.
Sinopec and Saudi Aramco have enjoyed substantial cooperation in the fields of gas exploration, oil refining, oil trade, and engineering services.

ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

1. Expert Electrical Engineer

12 years of experience in Electrical Engineering field

Bachelor"s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
* Certified as a Professional Engineer from a recognized Engineering institute.
* Certified on Work Process Improvement.


1) Perform Electrical technical support to YASREF with frequent plant visits to observe and discuss Electrical System operational/maintenance issues with respective OME teams. 
2) Stay knowledgeable of the latest Industrial Electrical technology and Best Practices relevant to the YASREF facility for use in the review of both capital and expense projects from initial engineering to commissioning. 
3) Participate in the development of electrical specifications and scope of work for both capital and expense projects. 
4) Review and comment on engineers" and vendors" proposals to ensure that the Electrical System meets YASREF requirements and enables the achievement of business priorities (HSE, reliability, high KPI"s, and continuous improvement).
5) Prepare design packages, capital and expense, to address Electrical System problems and obsolescence. Use YASREF electrical standards and industry best practices in these in-house design packages to ensure that these recommendations are efficient and cost effective.
6) Monitor the progress of electrical system upgrade/enhancement projects and provide recommendations to meet or beat project schedules and cost.
7) Participate in the Factory Acceptance and Site Acceptance Testing of New Electrical Equipment provided by projects to ensure that the electrical equipment meets YASREF technical and quality standards.
8) Provide test procedures of electrical motors, switchgear and related electrical equipment. 
9) Ensure the power monitoring system is functional and providing accurate and reliable electrical performance data to the plant information system for determining operating efficiency. 
10) Identify, propose and evaluate testing and preventive measures to evaluate and enhance Electrical System reliability. 
11) Participate in investigations of short and long term problems with motors and electrical equipment that affect service factors, safety, and operating costs. Take lead responsibility for documentation of the incident and corrective action. 
12) Attend to disasters and emergency situations to provide operation engineering advice and guidance; participate in HSE activities (such as plant walk through, HAZOP emergency and drills) as required.
13) Review and update Electrical Systems documentation for completeness and accuracy. Also, coordinate with other Electrical Engineers to ensure proper filing of documents. 

2.Plant Integrity Specialist


15 years on engineering inspection, 8 of which in Refineries, gas plants or petrochemical industry related to mechanical equipment inspection

Industrial college/two years diploma or intermediate English and Math level after high school
* Certified by well known recognised agency on: welding, NDT (UT, PT, MT, VT and RTFI), coating, at least two API certifications out of (API 510, or API 653, or API 570)
* It is preferred the candidate has experience related to administration of relief valves or On Stream Inspection (OSI) program.
* Good English communication skills (oral/writing)
* Good leadership and analytical ability
Act as inspection group leader; this includes planning, scheduling inspection activities and programs, distributing the work among other inspectors and directing, motivating and coaching them to perform quality inspection.
2. Perform annual inspection surveys on mechanical equipment, (Pressure Vessels, Heaters, Boilers, Storage Tanks, Piping, etc.) to prevent breakdowns by conducting on stream and internal inspection in accordance to international standards. 
3. Prepare and issue inspection technical reports including findings and recommendations to resolve/prevent static equipment integrity problems.
4. Perform welding inspection on all static equipment by utilizing non-destructive testing methods, such as UT, PT, MT and RT.
5. Review and update fabrication project packages based on YASREF specifications and International Codes.
6. Conduct (onsite and shop) inspection on static equipment during fabrication and installation stages to ensure compliance with specifications.
7. Participate in creating development plans for other inspectors and coach them 
8. Follow up on the implementation of inspection recommendations to ensure compliance with company specifications and standards.
9. Monitor Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) as per the welding procedures 
10. Properly document and retain inspection records for findings, recommendations, inspection worksheets and actions taken for future reference and analysis.
11. Monitor contractors"performance from quality point of view.

3.Economic Optimization Supervisor

16 years experience in related field

Bachelor"s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent 

1) Cascade YASREF and Engineering business objectives to respective employees and monitor the implementation of these objectives. 
2) Participate in developing the division"s Operating & Business plan.
3) Monitor the unit performance through set KPIs to meet set objective and achieve performance targets.
4) Lead and coordinate the refinery optimization studies and ensure the integrity and validity of the optimization software.
5) Lead in defining the optimal operating mode for all units based on current unit capabilities and analyze production deviation.
6) Lead and approve the financial impact analysis on the refinery short and long term future changes to provide management with recommendation on the best course of action. 
7) Liaise with YASREF Marketing and Manufacturing on matters related to the optimization model and economic studies. 
8) Approve the refinery production forecasting based on accuracy and adequacy; initiate revisions as required.
9) Participate in commissioning, startup and testing of units/plants.
10) Approve recommendation generated through giveaway studies and lead/coordinate action planning and implementation of these recommendations.
11) Lead opportunities planning and implement work process improvement within the group. 

4.Expert Process Control Engineer

12 years experience in related field

* Bachelor"s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
* Further Advanced Control training (Basic Control and Control Theory, Basic DCS System MVC, Expert Systems or Advance DCS System)

1) Conduct frequent plant visits to discuss the Process Control systems and its application"s relevant operational issues with respective OME teams. 
2) Review the existing control sequence, advanced process control system applications and generate/approve efficient and cost effective sound recommendations/actions.
3) Participate in the design of new control scheme, develop required calculations, and prepare software package and present scheme for implementation.
4) Lead, coordinate and align the review of design scope/project proposals/detailed design of Process Control automation projects.
5) Lead the design and develop computer programs to support Process Control applications. Monitor data backup test to ensure correctness of the computer programs and lead practical trials/tests to verify suitability and eliminate errors.
6) Monitor and lead troubleshooting for Process Control (including advanced control), ESD, metering and other auxiliary systems supporting the refinery.
7) Identify and discuss the control system and application program"s capabilities and limitations; also, identify and discuss the required DCS/ESD and other related systems vendor technical support & upgrades.
8) Lead hardware/software procurement, installation, commissioning, testing and support tasks for any new Process Control System upgrade (including ESD, advanced control, metering, etc.).
9) Lead investigation and analysis for the root cause of Control Systems, application problems. Lead studies to improve the control scheme and application
