My client is looking for an Area Manager with a BSME, IT, Chem E or EE Working as an Application Engineer or Sales Engineer for: Dresser Rand, GE O&G, Siemens, Cameron Compression or MAN - the primary competition. Working as a solutions provider for new turbomachinery (multi-stage compression, multi-stage steam turbines).Must be able to communicate effectively with machinery engineers, process engineers, procurement and project engineering. Must be a likeable guy ... and gregarious. Will consider an outgoing engineer working in one of the end user EPCs in the Calgary area: CB&I, AMEC, Fluor, Foster Wheeler, Kiewit Energy, SNC Lavalin or Worley Parsons. Working with the corporate HQs for the end users in Western Canada and Alaska. Working with the EPC HQs in Western Canada and Alaska. Minimum of 10 years experience. Main overnight areas from Calgary would be Anchorage, Vancouver and Edmonton. 25-30% overnight travel (one full week out a month)...more or less depending on work load. Markets: Upstream, Midstream, Downstream & small power (less than 30MW). Self starter, motivated and willing to take directions from Houston Home office or we can set you up in an office.
