We are currently looking for an experienced Piping Designer to join the ENERCON Team in our Palm Beach Gardens, FL office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform piping and pipe support design in support of fossil and nuclear power plant design changes by planning and designing design changes to required specifications, focusing on quality, safety, economy, constructability, reliability, and sustainability.
Responsibilities Include:
• Function as the primary piping designer for assigned projects in the preparation of design changes developed in accordance with ENERCON and Client procedures; This shall include the development of the piping and pipe support design drawings necessary for the installation of new or modified piping systems
• Provide input and direction to junior level designers/drafters in support of the assigned design changes
• Perform field walk-downs in support of design changes
• Interface with internal and Client staff (engineering, document control, implementing organizations, etc.) as required during the design change development and approval process
• Provide general design and drafting support to the mechanical, electrical, and civil/structural disciplines as necessary
• Support drawing changes necessary for identified field changes and project turnovers
