Visa on Arrival UAE Visa service Visa information for guests travelling to Australia The current citizens or nationals of the following countries are currently eligible to travel to the United States under the VWP via ESTA: Andorra • Australia • Austria • Belgium • Brunei • Czech Republic • Denmark • Estonia • Finland • France • Germany • Hungary • Iceland • Ireland • Italy • Japan • Latvia • Liechtenstein • Lithuania • Luxembourg • Monaco • Netherlands • New Zealand • Norway • Portugal • Republic of Malta • San Marino • Singapore • Slovakia • Slovenia • South Korea • Spain • Sweden • Switzerland • United Kingdom. All VWP nationals must submit an online application to obtain authorisation to travel to the US. The website for guests qualifying from VWP and to apply via ESTA is http://www.esta.cbp.dhs.gov/ Approved ESTA applications will be valid for a period of two years. It is recommended to apply for the ESTA 72 hours, before departure. Effective 20 January 2010, any guests who do not have a visa or eligible ESTA approval at check-in will be denied boarding. | ||
Mandatory Requirements:
· Passport Copy
o Please enclose colour copy of your Passport Bio page and Last page containing details of Full name, Nationality, Date and Place of birth, Passport number, Date of Issue & Expiry, Name of Father/Legal Guardian, Name of Mother, etc.
o Your Passport must be valid for a minimum period of 6 months at the time of travel.
· Photograph
o Size 4.3 * 5.5 cms
o Only colour photograph with white background will be accepted.
o 80% of your face should be visible.
· Etihad Airways Confirmed Ticket
o Please enclose confirmed ticket travelling into Abu Dhabi and onwards from Abu Dhabi with Etihad Airways.
o Only round trip ticket will be accepted.

· Application Form
o Completed/Signed application form is mandatory to process your visa.
o You can complete the visa form "Online".
· Hotel Accommodation
o If you are applying for 96 Hrs Transit visa "Hotel Accommodation" is compulsory.
Following "Additional documents" might help you to speed up the visa processing time:
· Frequent traveller
o If you have travelled to UAE in the last one year please enclose entry/exit stamp pages of your Passport.
· Invite from your immediate family members
o Invitation Letter.
o Passport copy.
o Valid Residence visa copy of the host.
· Travel history
o Please attach copy of your visa or travel proof, if you have travelled at least once in the last 5 years to/or holding a valid visa for countries like USA, UK, Schengen countries, European Union, Australia, New Zealand, Russia and Canada.

Note: Each applicant has to file a separate application. If your child details are endorsed in your (Parents) passport please use "Accompanied applicant" option to enter your child details.
Important Instructions:
· Dependants of the Applicants: Dependants are defined as Spouse/ Children below 21 years of age / Parents above 60 years of age. Supporting Documents proving the relation status has to be enclosed by guest.
· For minor/Married women: Photo ID of parents/ husband. Copy of the host passport / residence visa.
· Etihad Airways reserve the rights about sponsorship.
· Etihad Airways will not sponsor unaccompanied minor and students.
· Please note the immigration department will consider applications from minors or students only if they are travelling with parents.
· Only machine readable Passports will be accepted. Hand written Passport will not be accepted.
· Document upload: Only JPEG format will accepted and document size should not be more than 1 MB.
· E Visa sponsored by Etihad Airways cannot be extended.
Visa Types:
Entry Service Permit
An Entry Service Permit applies to the following categories and their families accompanying them: company manager's representatives, sales managers, account auditors, delegations from companies or establishments to carry out a commercial activity in the UAE, consultants requested by companies operating in the UAE that are required to carry out an urgent task.
Validity of permit: This visa is valid for use within 14 days from the date of issue.
Duration of stay: The duration of stay is 14 days from date of entry, exclusive of arrival and departure days. It is non-renewable.
Number of entry: Only single entry is permitted.
In order to complete the application, the sponsor will require the visitor's date of arrival and flight details, and a photocopy of the first few pages of the visitor's passport, which should be valid for at least six months.
Visit Visa
The Visit Visa applies to tourists who wish to spend more than 14 days in UAE, those coming for family visits as well as those on long-term business visits. It requires the sponsorship of any UAE resident or any company or hotel licensed to operate within the UAE.
This visa is valid for entry within two months from its date of issue.
Validity of permit: "60" days from the date of issue.
Duration of stay: "90" days following from the day of arrival.
Number of entry permitted: One (single entry only)
In order to complete the application, the sponsor will require the visitor's date of arrival and arrival details and a photocopy of the first few pages of the visitor's passport, which must be valid for at least three months.
Documents Required From Host
· Invitation Letter Duly Signed
· Valid Passport Copies Of Relevant Pages
· Valid Residence Visa Copy
The Visit Visa holder may enter and leave the country only through Abu Dhabi in the UAE.
Tourist Visa
Passport should be valid for a minimum period of 6 months and pre arrangement is required to apply for a tourist visa.
Validity of permit: "60" days from the date of issue.
Duration of stay: "30" days following from the day of arrival.
Number of entry permitted: One (single entry only)
Transit Visa
The 96 HRS Transit Visa applies to tourists who wish to make short visit to UAE, short-term business visits as well as transit passengers stopping at Abu Dhabi International Airport for a minimum of 8 hours and meeting the certain conditions mentioned below are eligible for obtaining a 96 hrs transit visa. These conditions are as follows:
· Etihad Airways confirmed ticket is mandatory.
· Applications should have confirmed onward booking to the 3rd destination.
· For transit passengers or those holding special permits, or for visit or mission, the passport or the document must be valid for at least three months.
· Confirmed hotel accommodation is must for 96 Hours transit visa.
· Citizens of the following countries are not eligible for the 96 hours transit visa on arrival: Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, Iran and Yemen.
The guest should produce copy of the transit visas for boarding. On arrival at Abu Dhabi International Airport the guest should visit visa delivery counter to collect the original visa.
Validity of permit: "14" days from the date of issue.
Duration of stay: 96 HRS (4 days) and the visa is non extendable.
