Lead the Piping and Layout Engineering activities in accordance with Project requirements within the assigned budget, time
schedule and quality standards. Ensure Discipline Project progress, monitor and control manhour consumption , Ensure Technical Bid Evaluations, Ensure Vendor follow-up activities , Support PM in technical interfacing with the Client , Support the Proposal Manager during technical clarification meetings with the Client.
Ensure good stress analysis design of piping networks both at technical and cost level . Issue technical part of inquiries, bid analysis and order for piping supports components
▪ Refer to project piping and layout lead for project activities and to head of piping flexibility section for technical solution and improvement .
Review the Client technical documentation and requirements
▪ Be responsible for the design of all piping supports components
▪ Issue project piping flexibility (Stress analysis) specification and critical lines list
▪ Perform calculations of critical piping networks
▪ Issue loads to allow the design of pipe-rack and foundations
▪ Issue technical part of requisitions for all piping supports components required by flexibility analysis
▪ Issue technical bid evaluation for all piping supports components offers
▪ Issue technical part of requisitions for all piping supports components purchase orders
▪ Review and approve vendors documents
▪ Maintain project technical files and update Company standards
