EDF Energy is a core part of the EDF Group, one of the largest energy companies in Europe with key business operations in the UK, France, Italy, Belgium and Poland. EDF are looking to recruit a Project Controls Manager to join the Hinkley Point C project.
The Project Controls Manager directly reports to the HPC Head of Integrated Project Controls Manager and is responsible for the direction and co-ordination of all Project Controls activities associated with the design, construction and commissioning of all plant and construction systems for the supported Multi-Disciplinary team (NDT).
Nature and Scope:
This role is responsible for cost, scheduling, estimating and risk management associated with the delivery of a specific area / scope of work within the HPC project. The post holder will interface with multiple levels of the project in France and the UK and may represent the project with key stakeholders including contract partners and regulators.
The nature of the HPC Project is such that the requirements of each post may change significantly as the Project develops. This Job Description describes the current Principal Accountabilities of this role. However, it is not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive. It is an outline indication of the areas of activities and may be amended in light of changing needs of the Project. When changes are significant, they will be made in consultation with the Planning and Scheduling Manager and will be consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job.
